Several testimonials on the impact of Jim on his students:|
April 2009 Hi Jim, I am so excited. After the assessment you did with me and correcting my grip, my wife and I went out and played 9 holes. My drive on the first hole was 20 yards past the 150 marker and to the right side of the fairway (the spine effect) and next shot landed on the green but was too much club - I have added at least 10 yards per club to my distance and am hitting the ball straight...Your diagnosis of my problem on one swing and help in correcting it in less than one hour has made my golf so much more enjoyable and less frustrating. Thank you very much. In addition, my wife has also been attending the CARE clinics and has added at least 20 yards to her drives through the advice obtained at these clinics. We don't know how to thank you except to express our delight to you and recommend you to our friends. Again, thanks so much, Cal. |

March 2009 Hi Jim, My chip ins were on Tuesday. Sand wedge on Canyon #6 from the trap, Oaks #3 pitching wedge 50 yards out to middle flag and Oaks #6 par 5 lob wedge off the green left in the gully pin high for a birdie. Lots of fun but I only saw Oaks 3 go in. I had a second birdie on Oaks 8 - about a 35 foot putt. All techniques from you. Thanks, Marcia |

My schedule does not allow for much practice time but since Jim started
giving me tune ups to my physical and mental approach to golf I have
never hit the ball further or with more confidence.

I stepped up to the 8th hole at Monarch Dunes having just saved a par
on the 7th with a 20 foot putt. Lots of positive energy
flowing in my head. I loaded a 7 iron shot in my brain from a
tournament at Cypress Ridge last month when I hit a 7 iron to about 10
feet on Hole 17 during the Central Coast Realtor tournament. The pin was down low so I needed to clear the water and wait for it to land softly and roll back down to the hole. I had a right to left wind about 15 mph. so I aimed into the far trees to the right at a point where there was a circle of clearance into the sky. I took 1 practice swing to find the ground with my club and noticed that I needed to put the ball in the front of my stance. I looked back at the target one more time, not the flag, then swung hard to get the ball high in the air to catch the wind as the distance was 180 plus. The ball took off high, drew a little and then hit pin high. The ball rolled up to the trap then trickled down back down towards the hole and it finally disappeared. You know the sound of a crisp 7 iron....nothing better. Wait....maybe ....Except....the sound of your playing partners screaming that the ball just when in the hole...yes!" Joey K.

Hi Jim, We just got back from St George from the Senior Games and I won a
gold medal for low net. I shot at 92 net 68 the first day I had 2
birdies on a par 4 and a 5. Every thing clicked. I was the leader for
both gross and net on Wed but didn't play as well but still won the
gold. Thanks for all your help. Marcia S.

Hi Jim, Yesterday I had my first hole in one. Did my pre-shot download you taught me- got my target (the flag) - internalized my target - stayed with it during the entire shot. - became one with the shot and target. My mom and I were playing at The Resort At Squaw Creek. This is how they describe the course and hole. "The 18-hole, links style, Robert Trent Jones Jr. championship course... "The course's signature par-three sixth hole poses a challenging over the water approach. The hole requires careful club selection in order to be rewarded". It would have never happened with out that download!!! I played from the whites - used my driver. We are sure grateful for you - Blessings, and gratitude, Nancy |
